My approach is guided by a “quality over quantity” philosophy, valuing simplicity and grace in both work and life. With a calm and confident nature, I aim to make you feel at ease, embracing the joy, excitement, and love of your wedding day.
My style blends documentary – capturing candid moments and genuine connections – with a touch of stylistic finesse for curated details and portraits. I draw inspiration from people: the laughter of children, the tender gestures of an elderly couple, and the simple beauty of shared moments. Art and fashion exhibitions, browsing bookshops with a hot chocolate, and discovering new recipes are my joys when not working.
I’ve had the privilege of working alongside some of the UK’s finest photographers, whose influence continues to shape my work. I began my journey in the wedding world with a renowned London wedding cake maker and as a bridal makeup artist before transitioning to photography. Now, I cherish the privilege of capturing and celebrating every moment of your special day.
At home, I’m an enthusiastic family person – chauffeuring my kids, enjoying midweek lunch dates with my husband, reading, walking, or flipping through my latest coffee table book for fresh inspiration.
Your wedding is all about you: your joy, your story, and the loved ones who gather to celebrate. It’s an honour to be welcomed into your circle and witness the magic of your best day unfold.
Lauren can also work alongside a second shooter to build a team of two photographers for your day.
